Vision in Action

Future stories.

These stories haven't happened yet — but they will. We're painting the scenarios we're praying and planning toward, so you can see the impact before you help build it.

Envisioned Scenarios

Vision in Action

Composite scenes drawn from real research, real conversations with sending pastors, and the specific gaps a thousand new churches would fill.

A future planter walks into his sending pastor's office.
Vision in Action · Jackson, MS

A future planter walks into his sending pastor's office.

Picture a bivocational youth pastor in Jackson — the one nobody has asked yet. In eighteen months he's assessed, prepared, and standing in front of forty neighbors on a Sunday morning. This is the story we're writing.

A family finds a church three blocks from their door.
Vision in Action · Anywhere, USA

A family finds a church three blocks from their door.

A young family moves into a neighborhood that had no gospel witness for a mile. By 2030, they don't have to drive to find one. The church came to them — because a sending church committed.

Twelve baptisms on a Sunday nobody expected.
Vision in Action · Cleveland, OH

Twelve baptisms on a Sunday nobody expected.

A rented storefront. A pastor who almost quit twice. A neighborhood that started praying. Imagine the day the water is finally warm and twelve people step in.

A dying county gets a living church.
Vision in Action · Rural Tennessee

A dying county gets a living church.

Population declining. Only church in town closed in 2019. A planter with agricultural roots moves in, and by year three the sanctuary is full again — not with transfers, but with the actually-lost, actually-found.

The neighborhood plants its own church.
Vision in Action · South Bronx, NY

The neighborhood plants its own church.

No parachute drop. A planter raised in the block, sent by a church across the river, funded by four sister churches. The neighborhood recognizes its own name in the preaching.

The thousandth church gathers for the first time.
Vision in Action · The Movement

The thousandth church gathers for the first time.

Somewhere between now and 2030, a church we haven't named yet holds its first worship service. It will feel small. It will change everything. This is what we're praying toward.

The Current Journey

What's real right now.

Future stories require present work. Here's the team on the ground, the training being built, and the churches already committed — a glimpse of the impact we know is coming.

Why existing churches are saying yes.
The Commitments

Why existing churches are saying yes.

Real sending pastors, real reasons. From megachurches to congregations of eighty — the churches already committed to plant by 2030.

Your Three Questions

Three questions. Three answers.

/01

Why should I join?

Because envisioned stories keep the work honest. Every scenario names a specific pastor, family, or neighborhood the movement is for — and every committed church makes one of them real.

/02

How do I start?

Read the vision, then pick the pathway your church is closest to. The stories start when a sending pastor says yes.

/03

What's my next step?

Add your church to a future story by committing to plant. We'll come back and write the real version when your plant launches.

Commit your church

Will your church
join the movement?

We are looking for 1,000 partner churches to commit to identifying, preparing, planting, and multiplying. The next church begins with yours.
